Review: My interactions Chris Maxwell-Gaines began in 11/23 after we met for a consultation because I was experiencing flooding in my home, backyard, and side yard. After going back and forth for months I finally got a proposal/plan and paid them a deposit on 2/9/23. 4 MONTHS went by and I was sick of being ignored over and over again when I asked for an ETA. The work never was scheduled. I had to wait until 6/6/23 to get my money back. Keep in mind that during these 4 months I continued to suffer with active flooding issues in my home through the Spring rains. NEVER work with these people. They're unprofessional, unresponsive and a complete waste of time, money, and energy. I could have found help back in Feb 2023, but no, I am still dealing with flooding issues more than a year later .... Not to mention that the work they DID do for the HOA was pathetic. They supposedly guarantee their work but I continue to experience flooding after they put a "swale" along the side of my yard. I can't tell if it's even an inch or two deeper than what it was, it's negligible and it made no difference whatsoever. It took me so long to recover from this that I am writing my review months later.. I sincerely hope that businesses like these go out of business because of how poorly they treat their *paying* clients.
